Malbank Gameswise 2012
The Youth Charter delivered a Gameswise 2012 programme with Malbank High School and Sixth Form College between 2009 and 2012, including Olympic Enrichments Days and the opening of an Olympic Boulevard, in the run up to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Carbonwise Eco Schools Project
The Youth Charter Carbonwise Eco Schools Project, supported by Defra, RFU, Encams and Land Securities Trillium came to a conclusion at the BBC’s Salford Bus Tour event and presentation held at the Imperial War Museum on Tuesday 23rd September 2008.
Spirit of the Streets tour of South Africa
As a culmination of the Youth Charter’s Anglo youth culture initiative programme, 17 young people from challenging backgrounds and communities of Greater Manchester were selected to participate in the “Spirit of the Streets” Tour of South Africa.
Manchester 2002 Connecting Communities
With the support of a unique multi agency and community volunteer effort, the Youth Charter Connecting Communities Programme delivered a three-day programme that saw 100 young people representing ten communities, resulting in 1000 young citizens visiting Manchester for the 2002 Commonwealth Games.

Soccerwise: Moss Side Amateur Reserves
Moss Side Amateur Reserves was formed in 1995 to enable young people who, through soccer could help ease the gang rivalry and tensions that existed in the Hulme and Moss side area and the City of Manchester. Consisting of rival gang members from the Alexandra Park estate, the key drivers were Billy Hughes (Millennium Powerhouse) who was also the team manager, Irving Williams (Hideaway Project), Geoff Thompson (Youth Charter) and Youth Charter Vice President and sporting ambassador, Sir Bobby Charlton.
Soccerwise: Citizenship Learning
Soccerwise developed from the Moss Side Amateurs soccer team in 1995, which used the sport to reduce gang territorialism and violence in Manchester, which was supported by Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
Proctor Youth Centre Agora Space
In 1994 young members of the Procter Youth Centre in Hulme knew exactly what they wanted - to improve a run-down kick-about area next to their club.
From Moss Side to Holywood - Adesuwa McCalla

Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse
The Youth Charter’s work with the Moss Side and Hulme Partnership saw a 5 year consultation with young people and community members between 1993 and 1998 that led to the development of a new facility for the young people of the Moss Side Youth Centre - The Powerhouse.
